i have been married now for 13 days.

so far, here are my favorite things about being married;

1. never having to leave ariel again.
2. being us again, even though that's mostly watching movies and going to home depot.
3. having ariel build stuff in our condo and then having me make it pretty.
4. praying together when we first open our eyes in the morning. i love this one.
5. other things that married people do. ; )
6. hearing him say, 'my wife' to other people.
7. being there when he gets home from work
8. going to mass together.
9. being able to pray for 'my husband'.
10. thinking about the possibility of children being more of a reality.

i'm so happy. so much weight has been lifted off of ariel and i, and i'm praising God for it. so many times over the last few days i've thought to myself, 'who am i that i should be given this amazing blessing?' i have done nothing good enough to deserve this, but that doesn't matter, God gave us this gift and He is sustaining us daily.

Lord, let me always, for the rest of my life remember your kindness to me in this time of joy and blessing.
so that when you bind me closer to your cross i will know that my God is loving and merciful, full of compassion and indescribable hope.
let me always remember that you have done great things for me, and holy is your name.
